The revival of the Adi-Ease has continued into AW16 after two very well received Away Days colourways, and the latest colour-up to grace the revered model is Auburn/White/Ice Blue. The colours probably shouldn't work well together in theory, but this could well be the cleanest mixture of colours that we've seen so far.
The base of the upper is a super-premium and super-clean short-haired suede, coming in a rich brown reminiscent of a hazelnut colour. A hazelnut leather overlay features around the top of the heel to lend a retro feel to the shoe, and the lace eyelets, tongue and laces have also been kept tonal to create a very minimal colourway overall. The few ice blue hits come in the form of the Trefoil on the heel, woven label on the tongue, and stripe along the top of the midsole, adding a gorgeous hit of colour in the perfect areas. Rounding off the shoe are white leather Three Stripes, naturally contrasting strongly against the upper, a white midsole, and a gum outsole, because who doesn't love a gum outsole?
The suede upper is incredibly durable as it is, and has been bolstered by an ADITUFF reinforcement around the front of the midsole which massively reduces the chances of the separation occuring. Comfort is one of the key areas in which this shoe excels, thanks to a molded PU sockliner that provides excellent cushioning and a soft textile lining that won't create much friction with your foot when skating. The vulcanized outsole, which offers incredible boardfeel, also features a vector traction tread pattern, which works perfectly with your grip tape to secure your feet perfectly when skating.
We also have a host of other Adidas Skateboarding styles, including the Superstar Vulc, Busenitz, Seeley, Adi-Ease, Silas, Matchcourt, and more.
