Adidas' now-famed Boost technology has finally made its way into the adidas Skateboarding range, in the form of the Busenitz Pure Boost. The second iteration of the shoe is this Black/Gold colourway, celebrating the ten year anniversary of the partnership between Dennis and adidas.
The colourway is certainly fitting for a ten year anniversary. The Busenitz model always looks great in understated colourways, and it seems adidas knows this too, giving the upper a full black suede make-up. Nothing screams anniversary like gold, so the embroidered Three Stripes on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe, "16" branding on the heel, and dual adidas/Busenitz branding on the tongue have all been given a bright gold treatment. The Busenitz branding running parallel with the Three Stripes on the outer side of the shoe comes in the form of a mini gold bar, with Busenitz text engraved into it, so it's clear that adidas went all out with this shoe.
The Pure Boost sole that has been so successful for adidas since its launch supports the stylish upper nicely, providing unparalleled comfort and cushioning. You'll struggle to find a shoe that provides as much energy retention as this one! The grippy rubber outsole provides fantastic traction, and features a cut-out design which nicely exposes the boost sole, and a small heel counter provides extra support and security.
We also have a host of other Adidas Skateboarding styles, including the Superstar Vulc, Lucas, Seeley, Adi-Ease, Silas, Matchcourt, and more.
