A standout shoe in the adidas Skateboarding range, the Busenitz is one of the most popular skate shoes around at the moment, and the various versions of it have arrived for AW16 in a multitude of clean, autumnal colourways. We've seen a fair bit of orange and brown already, but adidas has mixed things up nicely this time with a gorgeous Olive Cargo/White/Black colour-up.
the shoe features a full suede construction, the ideal material for a skate shoe thanks to its incredibly durable nature. The rich olive colour provided by the suede has a very autumnal feel to it, which is enhanced nicely by the olive strip that runs along the top of the midsole. Black appears at the heel in the form of a small TPU plastic heel counter, and white appears on the leather Three Stripes and on the midsole to add a nice brightness to the shoe. Rounding it off is a gum outsole, the perfect touch for autummn.
Adidas Skateboarding loves to incorporate a molded PU sockliner, and it features again in this shoe, providing great impact cushioning and comfort under the whole of the foot. Boardfeel isn't sacrificed, though, thanks to the vulcanized outsole which offers a very precise feel when skating, and grip is maximised by the multi-directional herringbone traction pattern and various pivot points. Perforations run parallel with the Three Stripes to improve breathability which is also aided by the half-mesh tongue, and finally durability has been maximised with the addition of ADITUFF, an textured rubber layer that wraps around the front of the midsole which is a high abrasion area when skating.
We also have a host of other Adidas Skateboarding styles, including the Superstar Vulc, Lucas, Seeley, Adi-Ease, Silas, Matchcourt, and more.
