The first of the adidas Skateboarding Spring '17 arrivals have landed here at Attitude, and on this evidence it's going to be a very strong season. A revitalised approach sees heritage take centre on this occasion, with the Busenitz Vulc being given a Samba (Dennis' favourite adidas shoe) inspired colourway and construction. It arrives in White/Black/Bluebird.
The upper of the shoe has been made predominantly using a white leather, with a good thickness to it and a supple feel. Overlaying the aforementioned is a hit of off-white suede that wraps around the toebox area, a trademark feature of the Samba, and black leather Three Stripes on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe. At the heel we see a black portion at the top which complements the Three Stripes, and a smal plastic heel counter in a deep brown that merges with the deep brown midsole and outsole. Adidas branding is also given priority on the tongue, coming in the form of a bold blue woven label that adds just the right amount of brightness to an otherwise nicely understated shoe overall.
As if the leather upper wasn't durable enough by itself, the suede overlay at the toebox improves durability even more by reducing the chances of separation. The sole has been vulcanized to make it incredibly hard wearing whilst also maximising boardfeel, and the outsole features a herringbone traction pattern to ensure grip when skating. Comfort isn't found wanting, either, thanks to a GEOFIT collar that provides an anatomical fit and support and a molded EVA sockliner that offers unreal cushioning under the whole of the foot.
We also have a host of other Adidas Skateboarding styles, including the Superstar Vulc, Lucas, Seeley, Adi-Ease, Silas, Matchcourt, Samba, Campus and more.
