A new offering from adidas is the Matchcourt High Remix, which has also become the latest shoe to be given a custom colourway by adidas pro Na'Kel Smith. What a colourway it is - Haze Coral/White, with a splash of forest green too.
The upper of the shoe has been made using suede, meaning that even in the absence of the Matchcourt's signature extended toecap, the shoe retains a serious amount of durability. Its soft pink colour is unlike anything we've seen so far this season, and has really got us in the mood for summer, too! The laces and eyelets match the upper in the same pink colour, and the tongue has been graced with an intricately embroidered rose logo in red and green. Aside from that the upper has been kept relatively simple, with gold Na-Kel text parallel with the white leather stripes offering the only other pop of colour. The midsole comes in white, and the outsole comes in a deep green, the perfect finish to a seasonally-perfect shoe.
The high cut of the shoe provides useful support around the ankle, preferred by many skaters because it can reduce the chances of ankle injuries and such. The shoe also still features some of the Matchcourt's best details, including a moulded EVA sockliner that provides great cushioning under foot and a vulcanized sole that enhances durability and boardfeel. On the outsole we see a Vector Traction pattern, providing the best grip and security when skating that adidas can offer. On the whole, a nice reworking by adidas that certainly caters to skaters and non-skaters alike.
We also have a host of other Adidas Skateboarding styles, including the Superstar Vulc, Busenitz, Seeley, Adi-Ease, Silas, Lucas, and more.
