The Matchcourt Mid is the perfect skate shoe for the winter months, thanks to its ankle-boot style and sturdy construction that holds up well against the elements. It has arrived in a variety of colourways for AW16, with this Triple Black colourway being the most simple of the lot. It doesn't get much better than this.
The shoe features an almost full suede upper, coming in black to make the shoe incredibly low-key. We also see canvas on the upper, wrapping around the heel/ankle area to provide added padding and protection, and leather, used to make the Three Stripes on both the lateral and medial sides of the shoe. The tongue comes in a lightweight and breathable black synthetic material, and the enhanced toecap and midsole are rubberised. The different materials provide slightly different shades of black across the upper, to make the shoe more visually interesting than what the titled colourway may suggest.
This is the perfect shoe for those that need added support and security around the ankle thanks to its mid-top design, with lace eyelets running to the top of the tongue to let you tie the shoes tightly around the whole of your foot and ankle. Durability is maximised by the rubber toecap which rises up around the front of the midsole, a high abrasion area when skating. Adidas' molded PU sockliner remains to provide great impact cushioning, with the vulcanized sole and vector traction outsole taking care of boardfeel and grip respectively.
We also have a host of other Adidas Skateboarding styles, including the Superstar Vulc, Busenitz, Seeley, Adi-Ease, Silas, Matchcourt Low and Slip-On, and more.
