The Seeley is one of the more understated shoes in the adidas Skateboarding range - it may not set the world on fire often, but its clean aesthetic is simply timeless. When you factor a Timberland-style brown suede/black sole colourway in to the mix, you get quite the retro-looking shoe, and that's exactly what the Three Stripes has done for Spring '17.
The upper has been constructed from a brown suede, reminiscent of a work boot with a very rugged and durable nature. Enhancing the work boot vibe are the brown rope laces and contrasting gold eyelets, the latter also providing a nice complement for the gold foil adidas/Donnelly text on the lateral side (referring to adidas pro skater Jake Donnelly). The Three Stripes logo on the lateral and medial side runs from the lacestay down through the higher taping and attaches to the midsole, and perforations feature in between said stripes for breathability. That all sits atop a solid black midsole and gum outsole, both toning things down very nicely.
Inside the shoe, a moulded PU sockliner provides unparalleled impact protection to let you skate in comfort for long periods of time. The thickness of the sockliner doesn't hinder boardfeel, though, thanks to the thin vulcanized sole. Durability is maximised by the higher taping that wraps around the top of the midsole onto the upper, and the ADITUFF reinforcement that covers the front of the midsole.
We also have a host of other Adidas Skateboarding styles, including the Superstar Vulc, Busenitz, Matchcourt, Adi-Ease, Silas, Lucas, and more.
