Easily two of the most on-the-pulse skate brands available here at Attitude, Thrasher and Fucking Awesome have been tearing up trees over the last two years in particular, with both brand’s apparel offerings reaching far beyond local skateparks (see Rihanna for both). For Summer ’17, the two forces have joined together to create a unique graphic, which features on vivid-as-ever short sleeve tees, long sleeve tees, and of course, hoodies.
There’s only the one hoodie, but it’s pretty stellar nonetheless. The new graphic consists of dripping Fucking Awesome text running through the middle, with a greyscale woman coming out of the top of it, and red/black Thrasher/Trash Me text below it in a white square. It all ties in very nicely, popping strongly against the plain black backdrop of the hoodie. The hoodie itself has been made using a cotton/polyester blend, providing a good level of thickness and a soft lining for great comfort. The wrists and waist have been ribbed for a streamlined fit, and the hood can be adjusted via a drawstring.
The long sleeve t-shirts follow the same style as the hoodie, coming in White which is pictured above and a reversed Black colourway, which you can find here. Made exclusively from cotton, the t-shirt is very soft, offering great comfort which is enhanced by the ribbed neckline. The wrists have also been ribbed, creating a closer fit which is ideal when skating, and the Trash Me graphic has been screen printed on the back, with the smaller version featuring on the left of the chest.
The short sleeve t-shirts have to go down as the standout this time around. The two most most eye-catching colourways of the four in total are the Violet and Yellow colourways, pictured on the left and right above respectively. Both feature pure cotton constructions, offering softness in abundance, and relaxed short sleeves for a more comfortable, non-restricting fit. Again, the more elaborate version of the new graphic features on the back, and the smaller Trash Me text graphic features on the left of the chest. With all of the pieces very much on the same stylistic lines, it’s just a matter of picking what layers and colourways your wardrobe needs this summer.
You can find the whole Thrasher x Fucking Awesome “Trash Me” collection online, as well as in our Colchester store. It’s selling quick though, so get moving if anything catches your eye.
