After a brief hiatus, Wayward London, a brand rising from the same scene that birthed Palace and Yardsale, is back for AW17 with a significantly brighter collection than its first. A great mix of returning and new graphics can be found on hoodies and t-shirts this time around, much like before, but now we’re seeing splashes of colour that are perfect for brightening your Autumn/Winter wardrobe.
Kicking off with the short sleeve t-shirts, there’s a few to choose from this time around. Above we have the Snake Vision T-Shirt on the left and the Pillage T-Shirt on the right. Both feature a premium 190GSM cotton construction, offering a comfortable, relaxed fit designed with skating in mind. The Snake Vision t-shirt features Wayward’s signature Lowgo graphic in blue with a bold pink offset, providing a 3D appearance that stands out strongly against the white backdrop. The Pillage t-shirt features the best graphic in Wayward’s second collection, with a Lowgo-branded pills bottle dropped on the shoulders and a variety of coloured pills littered across the back.
Much like the first collection, two long-sleeves t-shirts are available this time around. The Lowgo text graphic makes a return on the Wayslee T-Shirt, which comes in black, and the Pillage graphic appears on the right sleeve of the Armacy T-Shirt, which comes in white. Both feature 190GSM cotton builds, like the short sleeve tees before them, and delicately screen printed graphics on the sleeves in olive green and multicoloured respectively, offsetting their simplistic base colours. Also on both, you get a Lowgo graphic on the chest for good measure.
The solitary hoodie in the collection follows the same style as the Snake Vision t-shirt. A white base of 490GSM cotton has been utilised, providing a thick and comfy hoodie that’ll certainly keep you warm throughout the winter months. A drawstring at the hood lets you tighten or loosen it to your preference, and ribbing at the waist and wrists offers a secure, streamlined fit. Wayward’s Lowgo has been screened on the chest and back in blue, again with a pink offset for that 3D look. Could be tricky to keep clean, but it’s definitely worth the risk.
There’s three boards in this latest drop, and the nicest one has to be the Lowgo II deck. An unreal graphic depicts multicoloured clouds of smoke floating all over the board, looking like the result of a combined Festival of Paint and vaping contest. Wayward’s Lowgo graphic cuts through the clouds in white, offsetting the bold graphic to perfection. It’s 8″ wide, and if that’s too small, you can choose the Snowy By Day or Pill Pot boards, which come in 8.2″ and 8.4″ respectively.
The Wayward AW17 collection is currently available both online and in-store here at Attitude. Every piece is limited, so if there’s anything that catches your eye, don’t hesitate to cop or you might just miss out.
