Diadora has kicked off 2017 with a bang, to say the least. Its first three kicks have arrived a bit later than our other sneaker brands, but boy, was it worth the wait. The final shoe of the three, and the second N9000, is this Moonbeam/Impala iteration, which looks more like a collab than a GR.
The upper comes predominantly in suede, with a perforated and unperforated off-white suede featuring on the toebox and creating a nice mudguard. Overlaying that is a hit of gold suede, which runs from the lacestay to the heel on both sides of the shoe, meeting a darker capuccino suede at the heel and gold leather. Diadora's formstripe logo comes in a light grey leather, as does the main portion of the lacestay, standing out nicely against the beige nylon midfoot and cappuccino suede tongue respectively. Diadora's other branding complements the colourway perfectly, with white embroidered text appearing on the tongue and heel. That all sits atop a white midsole with a beige hit and black outsole, the latter keeping things nice and toned down.
The sole of the shoe features an aggressive tread pattern, one that will have you walking in security no matter what surface you're on. That works with the fully EVA-cushioned midsole to provide an excellent walking experience overall - it's easy to see why this was the preferred running shoe of many an athlete back in the '90s. So you're getting premium performance and one hell of a Spring/Summer-infused colourway - what more could you ask for!
We also have a variety of other Diadora styles, including the V7000, Titan II, Camero, Intrepid, IC4000 and Titan Fly.
