Footwear arrivals are always more than welcome, and this time around Diadora has graced us with three new sneakers, two very bold and one a bit more understated. The first of the two bold sneakers is this Black N9000, which has been given a Hologram twist.
The upper has been made predominantly using a synthetic mesh, with a cut-out detail on the toebox and a more nylon-look on the midfoot and heel. Overlaying that are the synthetic hologram hits, which give a multicoloured iridescent look when the light catches them. Diadora's formstripe logo is bonded onto the upper in black on the lateral and medial sides, and dual Diadora/N9000 text has been printed onto the black heel and tongue in 3M. All of that sits atop a black/white midsole, adding a nice bit of brightness to the shoe without detracting from the hologram hits, and a classic black outsole.
The sole of the shoe features a very aggressive tread pattern, one that will have you walking in security no matter what surface you're on. That works with the fully-EVA-cushioned midsole to provide an excellent walking experience overall - it's easy to see why this was the preferred running shoe of many an athlete back in the '90s.
We also have a variety of other Diadora styles, including the V7000, Titan II, Camero, Intrepid, IC4000, Titan Weave and Titan Fly.
