Nike SB's Spring collection has arrived nice and early this year, and it's certainly got us in the mood for the season ahead! Some of our favourite models have been graced with bright and intriguing colourways to result in one of the best Nike SB collections we've seen for a long while. The Bruin Hyperfeel, one of Nike's most successful hybrid models, has arrived in a bright Cool Grey/Black/White colourway that has really got us in the Spring spirit.
The upper has been made almost exlusively from suede, coming in a light grey colour that nicely complements the darker hits of grey on the tongue, laces and eyelets. The same darker grey also feautures along the bottom of the upper where it meets the midsole and on the heel, providing a nice backdrop for black Nike text on the latter. The sole does of course come in a solid white, perfectly rounding off a simple and stylish monchromatic colourway.
The tech that has been packed into the shoe is outstanding. The Hyperfeel in the title of the shoe refers to the combination of the sockliner and sole, with the former being foam to provide cushioning and the latter featuring an intricate tread pattern that provides excellent grip when skating, and numerous deep-cut grooves which let the shoe flex naturally with the foot. The outcome of the two components is unparalleled boardfeel that can't be matched by many skate shoes currently on the market. A thin layer of Hyperscreen runs along the top of the midsole where it meets the upper, which enhances durability significantly and reduces the chances of separation occuring. Also improving durability is the lack of stitching across the upper, traded out for fusing to reduce the chances of rips and tears appearing.
We also have multiple other offerings from Nike SB, including the Check, Janoski, Koston Hypervulc, Trainerendor, P-Rod, Zoom Oneshot, Zoom All Court CK, Dunk Low Pro and Blazer.
