Nike SB's Spring collection has arrived nice and early this year, and it's certainly got us in the mood for the season ahead! Some of our favourite models have been graced with bright and intriguing colourways to result in one of the best Nike SB collections we've seen for a long while. Grey shoes are normally simple - grey upper, white midsole right? Well Nike has thankfully changed things up with the Matte Silver/Pure Platinum Janoski Max, one of the best shoes in the new collection without doubt.
The upper of the shoe comes in a super premium suede, the kind that will have you tip-toeing everywhere for the first few days of wearing them (or you can check out our Jason Markk range to put your mind at ease)! that has been offset by a neoprene ankle collar and tongue, a mainstay with the Janoski Max, and an unbelievably soft textile lining. The only variation in colour on the upper is, of course, the lighter grey Nike Swooshes, which do still complement the colourway perfectly. The midsole and outsole come in, yep you guessed it, the same shade of grey as the upper, creating an unbelievably clean colourway overall.
The Janoski Max, being a hybrid model, is packed with Nike's best technology from a variety of divisions. The Nike Free sole has been adapted to the shoe, providing great flexibility and comfort thanks to dense foam cushioning, and the Max Air bubble in the heel provides even more cushioning in what is a high impact area. Each of the pods on the outsole feature their own herringbone traction patterns, ensuring grip on all surfaces, and finally an EVA foam sockliner has been included, just in case the shoes weren't comfy enough already.
We also have multiple other offerings from Nike SB, including the Check, Bruin Hyperfeel, Koston Hypervulc, Trainerendor, P-Rod, Zoom Oneshot, Zoom All Court CK, Dunk Low Pro and Blazer.
