We'll very soon be in the grip of winter, and with that we'll no doubt experience a good bit of cold, rain and maybe even snow, so its time to break out the winterised shoes. We've seen the Adi-Trek arrive already, and Nike SB's equivalent has also now turned up, the Janoski Mid Premium in Dark Obsidian/British Tan.
If you want skate shoe style and the performance of a proper winter boot, this is the perfect shoe for you. The Janoski has been enhanced to cover more of the ankle, and has been given a full leather upper to make it incredibly resistant to water. This has been backed up by a dark blue fleece lining, which provides great warmth and comfort. Boot style has been incorprated via D-ring lace eyelets and brown piping, which lend a really vintage feel to the shoe, as does the off-white midsole. Nike's Swooshes have been given a similar dull white colour, contrasting nicely against the dark obsidian upper.
Zoom Air remains in the heel of the sockliner, enhancing comfort by protecting your feet against harsh impacts, working nicely with the fleece lining. The vulcanized sole has been fused to the upper using autoclave construction, which makes the shoe much more streamlined, and the outsole of course features a herringbone traction pattern which will give you grip in any weather conditions.
We also have multiple other offerings from Nike SB, including the Janoski Max, Bruin Hyperfeel, GTS, Trainerendor, P Rod, Koston Max, Dunk, Zoom Oneshot, Blazer and Check.
