The Janoski has seen a great mixture of colourways in its time. The simple black/white colourway always looks good, but for many people something extra is needed. Well, if you're one for extravagant colourways, Nike has certainly delivered with this Hazelnut/Baroque Brown/Peach colourway that has a distinctive Halloween feel to it.
The upper of the shoe is full canvas, which works well to enhance the vivid nature of the orange, black and brown splotches that grace the pale orange base of the upper. Piping, laces, and the stripe along the top of the midsole all come in brown, to take nothing away from the main colours on the upper of the shoe, with the lining also coming in brown, suede being the chosen material. The Nike Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe have been given minimal dark brown embroidered make-ups, blending in with the shoe nicely. This all sits atop a crisp white midsole and brown outsole. Reminiscent of pumpkins, isn't it?
Zoom Air is featured in the heel, optimising the shoe for skating by providing great cushioning in the heel, a typically high-impact area. The vulcanized sole is incredibly durable, made to withstand the abrasion that comes with skating, with the herringbone traction pattern on the outsole providing great board grip. The front of the midsole has been reinforced with an extra rubber layer, which has been textured to give you more control with flip tricks and such.
We also have multiple other offerings from Nike SB, including the Janoski Max, Bruin Hyperfeel, GTS, Trainerendor, P Rod, Koston Max, Dunk, Zoom Oneshot, Blazer and Check.
