Minimal colourways are almost always the best on the Janoski, aren't they? Thankfully, Nike knows and appreciates this, blessing us with this incredibly minimal Black/Black/White colourway. It may sound like something you've seen already, but Nike has made small tweaks to provide us with a fresh shoe unlike anything we've actually seen before.
The upper of the shoe is an ultra-premium suede, incredibly soft in nature, which enhances the comfort of the shoe significantly. This is the kind of suede that is saved only for Nike's tip-top releases. The Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe have been embossed into the suede, making the shoe much sleeker and low-profile, which is further aided by the removal of the black stripe along the top of the midsole in favour of a solid white midsole overall. The textile lining and Janoski branding also come in black, as does the outsole, to mute the shoe nicely. Overall, an ultra-premium, ultra-classy colourway on one of Nike SB's most timeless models.
Nike hasn't forgotten the main purpose of the shoe, either. Zoom Air sits in the heel to provide great impact cushioning and comfort, very ideal for skateboarding, and the sole has still been vulcanized, making it very durable and hard-wearing. The black outsole does of course feature a herringbone traction pattern, providing great board grip, and finally an extra rubebr layer features on the front of the midsole, with a textured style letting you better control your flicks when skating.
We also have multiple other offerings from Nike SB, including the Janoski Max, Bruin Hyperfeel, GTS, Trainerendor, P Rod, Koston Max, Dunk, Zoom Oneshot, Blazer and Check.
