The Jazz Original is a great Saucony model for two main reasons - price and style. Nowadays it's rare to find a shoe at £74.99 retail, and when its a shoe as versatile as the Jazz Original which is steeped in heritage, you know you're on to a winner. It has arrived in this incredibly sleek Olive colourway for AW16.
The upper of the shoe has been constructed solely from a suede, very soft to the touch, which gives a seriously premium feel to the shoe. The aforementioned is aided significantly by the fleecy lining that wraps around the ankle, which on top of looking great also makes the shoe significantly more comfortable and warmer. The laces have been kept tonal with the lining, and perforations feature on the toebox to improve breathability. All of the aforementioned sits atop a plush cream midsole, and an outsole that looks almost whisper pink.
While technology may not be in abundance in the Jazz Original, it's still got enough to make it useful. An EVA-cushioned midsole improves comfort drastically by reducing the effects of the impact of each step taken when you move, and the rubber outsole is very durable and grippy, so traction will never be a problem.
We also have a host of other Saucony Originals styles, including the GRID 9000, GRID 8500, DXN Trainer, Shadow 6000, G9 Shadow and Jazz Original.
