We saw the GRID 9000 in a "Dirty Snow" colourway this time last year, inspired by the harsh weather that batters Boston (Saucony's current residence) each winter. That sneaker was met with an incredible reception, and the three dots brand has acknowledged that this season and produced a Shadow 6000 and GRID 8000 CL both featuring the same "Dirty Snow" colourway, and an additional twist. First up we have the former, coming with a clean, subtle style.
The upper of the shoe is predominantly a black Wolverine Silkee suede, with perforations on the toebox that improve breathability significantly and give off an even more premium style than the title suggests. The "Dirty Snow" pattern is visible wrapping around the upper just above the midsole, coming in the form of a canvas-like woven material that is very sturdy and gives the shoe a great shape. Saucony's three dots branding on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe come in a black leather, standing out nicely, and white/grey rope laces complement the overall colourway perfectly. All of that sits atop an off-white midsole and an icy (if you'll forgive the pun) translucent outsole.
As if an unreal colourway wasn't enough, this is one of the most comfortable sneakers on the Attitude Inc. roster at the moment. A significant amount of EVA foam has been packed into the midsole, meaning the impact experienced with each step is greatly reduced by the time it hits your foot. The sole visibly descends also, which providesn a rolling sensation as you take off with each step - vastly improving your walking/running experience overall. Certainly an ice-cool shoe overall!
We also have a host of other Saucony Originals styles, including the GRID 9000, GRID 8500, DXN Trainer, Shadow 6000, G9 Shadow and Jazz Original.
