In a very mature Midnight Navy/Brown colourway perfect for Autumn, the Gilbert Crockett Pro returns with a bang.
As always, the upper consists of a mixture of canvas and suede. The forefoot comes in a very tough blue suede (shoutout Elvis) that will give you no durability problems when skating. Moving backwards, the midfoot comes in a blue canvas material, adding vital support in an area that desperately requires it when skating. The bottom of the heel comes in the same blue suede as the forefoot, complemented by a buttery brown suede patch running along the top of the heel. The Vans stripe, laces, eyelets and stitching across the shoe all come in brown, matching the heel nicely and adding a very rugged, outdoorsy feel to the shoe overall.
ULTRACUSH HD insoles sit in the sockliner of the shoe, offering much-needed impact cushioning in the heel and premium boardfeel around the toes. This is further aided by the shoe's Wafflecup construction, bringing the foot deeper into the sole and closer to the board you're riding. Duracap reinforcements "cap" off this shoe nicely, adding extra durability to typically high abrasion areas like the front of the midsole and the forefoot.
We also have a host of other Vans Pro Skate models, including the Old Skool, Sk8-Hi, Kyle Walker Pro, Chima Ferguson Pro, Era Pro, AVE Rapidweld, Half-Cab, and Tony Trujillo Pro.
