Completing the holy trinity of Vans Pro Skate staples is the the Sk8-Hi, which arrives in the same Black/White colourway as the Old Skool before it. As versatile as its predecessor with added ankle and achilles support, there are few shoes that are as iconic as this one.
The upper has been constructed using a combination of canvas and suede, the former featuring on the mid-panel for improved flexibility with a good level of sturdiness, and the latter featuring on the heel, toebox and lacestay for improved durability and structure. With the aforementioned all coming in black, white hits are provided via the laces and Vans stripe, and the stitching that runs all over the shoe. Evening things out are the white midsole which features a thin black stripe at the top, and providing that signature retro Vans appeal is the gum outsole.
Vans has added incredible upgrades to optimise the shoe for skating. UltracushHD insoles provide unparalleled impact protection at the heel, and slim down around the toes to enhance boardfeel. Duracap overlays wrap around the front of the midsole, to enhance durability which is already significant thanks to the suede upper, and the vulcanized sole raises boardfeel to an unprecedented level.
We also have a host of other Vans Pro Skate models, including the Gilbert Crockett Pro, Sk8-Hi, Kyle Walker Pro, Chima Ferguson Pro, Era Pro, AVE Rapidweld, Half-Cab, and Tony Trujillo Pro.
