Triple black is a colourway that looks good on just about any shoe, but there are some brands that execute it to perfection with carefully considered materials and such - Vans is one of them. The Slip On Pro has arrived in said colourway, and it is one of the hardest shoes we've seen this season.
Just as we saw with the Port Royal slip on not long ago, the shoe features a suede and textile construction. The former features on the front and heel, providing excellent durability and support, and the latter features on the quarter, providing good flexibility and breathability. A small Vans label features on the lateral side, blacked out to match the rest of the upper, and all that sits atop a solid black midsole. A gum outsole caps things off nicely, providing the classic vibe we love from Vans.
UltracushHD sockliners have been utilised to great effect, providing the best impact protection and overall comfort that Vans can offer to let you skate for long periods of time. Boardfeel isn't sacrificed, though, thanks to the vulcanized construction of the outsole that brings the foot closer to the board, and the iconic waffle otusole pattern provides excellent grip. finally, durability is maximised by the DURACAP overlays that wrap around the front of the midsole - quite the shoe, it muts be said.
We also have a host of other Vans Pro Skate models, including the Old Skool, Chima Ferguson Pro, Era Pro, AVE Rapidweld, Half-Cab, Kyle Walker Pro and Tony Trujillo Pro.
