Something a little different this time around - we've got a second Pro Skate Shoe from Vans pro BMXer, not skater, Dakota Roche. The Vans Sk8-Hi PRo is the shoe of choice this time around, perfect for those of you that like more support around the ankle. The colourway is an exceptional Burnt Olive/Black.
So essentially what we've got here is a reverse of the colourway on Dakota Roche's Style 112 Pro we saw not so long ago. The toebox and heel of the upper, as well as the lacestay which reinforces the shoe, all come in a dark olive green suede, and the midfoot panel comes in the same olive green but in canvas. The only other hits of colour on the upper come via the Vans stripe which features in a black leather, and woven Vans label on the tongue. The midsole comes in a nice and crisp white, toned down nicely by the black stripe that wraps around it, and the outsole comes in a classic gum colour.
Tech has been packed into the shoe to optimise it for skating. UltraCushHD sockliners have been added, providing impact protection and cushioning that most brands simply cannot match, and the signature waffle outsole pattern guarantees great traction. Durability is maximised by the Duracap overlays that wrap around the front of the midsole, and finally, the sole is nice and thin, offering unreal boardfeel.
We also have a host of other Vans Pro Skate models, including the Old Skool, Chima Ferguson Pro, Era Pro, Style 112 Pro, Half-Cab, Kyle Walker Pro and Tony Trujillo Pro.
