The adidas Matchcourt has received the slip-on treatment recently, with modifications being made to replace the traditional lacing system for a more one-piece shoe, and to great avail. It must have been well received, because the Adi Ease has been given the same treatment for Spring '17 - here we have the Adi Ease "Kung Fu" in Black/White.
The upper of the shoe comes largely in a twill canvas material, black in colour to keep things nice and subtle. Matching the upper are the black Three Stripes on the lateral and medial sides, and the black canvas overlay at the heel. Elastic is present, forming the tongue to give it the stretchiness that lets the shoe adapt to your foot, and there's a black/white striped pull tab at the top of it. The midsole comes in white, featuring a black stripe wrapping around the top of it to reduce the contrast between it and the upper, and the outsole comes in a classic gum colour.
As you can gather just from looking at it, the shoe is very technologically advanced. The elasticated tongue provides a sock-like adaptable fit, of course very ideal when skating, and the reinforced heel further enhances security and stability. An EVA sockliner offers excellent cushioning under foot to maximise comfort and impact protection, and finally, a complex outsole pattern with various pivot points will help you grip your board firmly.
