The first of the adidas Skateboarding Spring '17 arrivals have landed here at Attitude, and on this evidence it's going to be a very strong season. A revitalised approach sees heritage take centre on this occasion, with the Samba model (having made a strong comeback with a string of exceptional collaborative iterations recently) being given a skateboarding-optimised upgrade. The Samba ADV arrives in Core Black/White/Gum.
The upper of the shoe does of course come in a black leather, as is almost always the case with the Samba, with the trademark tonal suede overlay around the toebox. It also runs up to where the tongue starts, giving the shoe a very arrowed look and streamlined feel. Adidas' iconic Three Stripes feature on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe in a white leather, and the heel also features a white leather hit at the top adorned with a gold Trefoil logo. The extended mesh tongue comes in black matching the laces, and finally the sole comes in a deep gum colour, providing the retro style that works so well for adidas so often.
The Three Stripes brand has done a great job of making the shoe suitable for skating. Durability is taken care of by the leather and suede upper, and traction when skating is guaranteed by the herringbone pattern on the outsole. Comfort is where this shoe is a real winner, though - an internal mesh bootee provides a responsive and sock-like fit, and a moulded PU sockliner provides unreal cushioning and comfort under the whole of the foot. Finally, support is provided by the TPU heel clip, perfectly capping off a shoe that performs just as good as it looks.
We also have a host of other Adidas Skateboarding styles, including the Superstar Vulc, Lucas, Seeley, Adi-Ease, Silas, Matchcourt, Samba, Campus and more.
