The second shoe in the Converse drop for April '17 is a lower-cut, more-traditional alternative to the mid-top we've seen already - here we have the CONS One Star Pro in Camo Green Glow/White. The same high-performance skate shoe, but with an awesome suede-backed canvas upper too.
The exterior of the upper is a dark teal canvas material, which feels nice and sturdy as it is, but is bolstered by an even tougher bright teal suede, visible at different areas of the upper where the seams are exposed. The star logos on the lateral and medial sides have been given a bright teal speckle and stitched outline to match, and there's a clean olive stripe that offsets the white midsole very nicely. CONS branding on the tongue is tonal to keep it nice and subtle, and finally, the outsole does of course come in a gum colour.
The shoe is nice and low-cut around the ankle, guaranteeing pure freedom of movement. Comfort is by no means an issue, with the Lunarlon sockliner providing some of the best cushioning that can be found in skate shoes period, and the textile lining reduces friction. A secure fit is provided by the gusseted tongue design, and finally, the CONS traction rubber outsole delivers superb grip.
You can shop the rest of the Converse CONS range, including shoes like the CTAS Pro Lo and High, Breakpoint and One Star Low, here on our website and in our Colchester store.
