Nike SB's Spring collection has arrived nice and early this year, and it's certainly got us in the mood for the season ahead! Some of our favourite models have been graced with bright and intriguing colourways to result in one of the best Nike SB collections we've seen for a long while. The Blazer Low has arrived in a beefed up XT form on this occasion, and the colourway is the epitome of clean - Summit White/Black/Gum.
The upper of the shoe has been made using an off-white suede, very short haired and tough which is of course necessary for a skate shoe. Sitting atop that off-white suede are two black leather Swooshes, appearing on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe, and black embossed Nike text on the heel. The synthetic tongue, which has had much of the original Blazer's padding removed from it, comes in white, as do the laces, to match the midsole. Finally, a gum outsole adds a vintage and classy feel to the incredibly clean overall shoe.
Zoom Air sits in the heel of the sockliner, a nicely sized chunk of the Air technology Nike is so famed for, to provide great responsiveness and cushioning in what is a very high impact area. Classic Nike SB Blazer features like the textile lining, gusseted and slimmed-down tongue and heavily textured midsole all remain, providing good breathability, a secure fit, a sleek style and great control over flip tricks respectively. The main noticeable upgrade that has been included is the enhanced rubber toecap, which improves durability vastly (you'll certainly get a good while out of these no matter how often you skate). Finally, boardfeel is guaranteed by the vulcanized sole, and traction is on point thanks to a herringbone traction pattern.
We also have multiple other offerings from Nike SB, including the Janoski, Bruin Hyperfeel, Koston Hypervulc, Trainerendor, P-Rod, Zoom Oneshot, Zoom All Court CK, Dunk Low Pro and Check.
