Animal skin patterns have become a common theme in the footwear world, and one has appeared in Nike SB's AW16 collection on the Janoski Premium. The Cobra edition of the Janoski has arrived in a simple Black/White colourway, which really lets the eye-catching nature of the upper take centre stage.
The shoe features a full faux-snakeskin upper, which features areas of silver, grey and black to resemble the different shades found on most snakes. To tone down the shoe slightly, the laces, piping, embroidered Swooshes and Janoski branding on the tongue all come in black, taking nothing away from the main portion of the upper. A solid white midsole contrasts nicely against the rest of the shoe, brightening it nicely.
The shoe features some of Nike SB's best skate technology. Zoom Air sits in the heel of the sockliner, providing great impact cushioning and responsiveness, and the vulcanized sole provides great boardfeel. Durability is enhanced by a textured overlay around the front of the midsole, which also helps you control your flip tricks more. Finally, the black rubber outsole features Nike SB's iconic herringbone traction pattern, which provides unparalleled grip when skating.
We also have multiple other offerings from Nike SB, including the Janoski Max, Bruin Hyperfeel, GTS, Trainerendor, P Rod, Koston Max, Dunk, Zoom Oneshot, Blazer and Check.
