Pontus Alv, an internationally respected skateboarder, witnessed a level of corporate control in America so strong that it motivated him to do things a bit differently.

Based out of Malmo in Sweden, he set up Polar Skate Co. in 2011, with the aim of producing core skate graphics with a high level of quality, that would both look good and perform good. Five years on, and after the release of numerous incredible skate videos including “I Like It Here Inside My Mind” as well as developing a very strong professional team including Jerome Campbell and Aaron Herrington, Polar Skate Co. is taking the world by storm thanks to its production of almost everything a skateboarder needs.
