Staple

Jeff Staple had designed a screen-printed t-shirt in his class at Parsons School of Design, with no motive to start a brand. He produced another 12, and next thing he knew, Staple was born.

As it began to gain traction in NYC, Nike approached Jeff to design a Dunk Low, and what ensued was the beginning of true sneaker hype. A camp out tailing round numerous blocks, people getting pairs stolen off them the next day, Staple had created a frenzy with its Pigeon Dunk and its place in streetwear folklore was secured. Ever since, it has carried on producing “staple” items with a high level of quality and with that trademark Pigeon always present in some way.
