A mainstay in the Vans Pro Skate shoe range since its release in 2014, the Chima Ferguson Pro was bound to be tested with new variations, and the Estate Pro is one of them. It has been given a very mature Moroccan Tile Brown colourway for AW16, a very autumnal colouray to say the least that will have you matching the leaves as the seasons change.
The upper comes in an incredibly soft brown suede, that changes shade across the shoe to make it much more visually interesting. This is accented by a bolder brown canvas used on the piping and also on the laces, and a really rich brown leather on the heel and tongue, the latter featuring Gilbert's signature branding. The midsole comes in an off-white, complementing the upper nicely, with a classic gum waffle sole rounding the shoe off nicely.
Skate technology doesn't go a miss on this shoe, either. An UltraCush HD footbed is still present, providing great impact cushioning around the heel and boardfeel around the toes. Its single wrap Pro-Vulc construction drastically improves durability and reduces the chances of a separation between the upper and midsole occurring, but aside from this, it is a fairly stripped back, minimal shoe more designed for casual wear than skating.
We also have a host of other Vans Pro Skate models, including the Old Skool, Sk8-Hi, Kyle Walker Pro, Gilbert Crockett Pro, Era Pro, AVE Rapidweld, Half-Cab, and Tony Trujillo Pro.
