Three new Vans Pro Skate shoes have arrived recently, with all of them offering a reprisal of sorts from the bold pink Kyle Walker Pro we saw not so long ago! Two of said shoes arrive in a Navy/Gum colourway, the first being this Half Cab.
The upper has been made predominantly using a textile material, one that provides great breathability and comfort combined with decent flexibility. To reinforce that, Vans has added suede overlays in a tonal navy colour, which enhance support and durability all around the shoe. The classic Half Cab woven logos remain on the quarter and tongue, both coming in white/black to stand out nicely, and the sole comes in gum, providing a very retro colourway on the whole. It certainly harks back to Caballero's glory days.
The shoe has been brought into the 2017 successfully, with some of Vans' best skate technology being incorporated. UltracushHD sockliners offer unreal protection against impacts to let you skate in comfort for long periods of time, and boardfeel isn't lost thanks to the vulcanized construction of the sole. DURACAP overlays wrap around the front of the midsole on both shoes, largely improving durability in a high abrasion area, and Vans' iconic waffle outsole offers impeccable grip.
We also have a host of other Vans Pro Skate models, including the Old Skool, Chima Ferguson Pro, Era Pro, AVE Rapidweld, Kyle Walker Pro, and Tony Trujillo Pro.
